A 55.50 Carats Pear-Brilliant-Cut D-colour Diamond Sold at a Christie’s Auction

Among the highlights of the Christie’s Geneva Magnificent Jewels Sale, which was conducted on November 9th, 2021, was the 55.50-carat diamond, potentially internally flawless and with the optical excellence of an 18th century Golconda gem, which was cut, polished, and sold by Diacore – for $5.3 Million.
Nir Livnat, executive chairman of Diacore, said: “We are very proud of the flawless craftsmanship of this diamond, and humbled to have the opportunity of designing and shaping such a beautiful piece”.
He added: “It is always a pleasure to be a part of the auctions at Christie’s, and we were fortunate enough to be sellers as well as buyers, during the Geneva Magnificent Jewels Sale”.
