For the First Time Ever an Online Auction of a D Color Diamond Took Place
A spectacular D color Flawless diamond was sold in a unique online auction by Sotheby’s, for the first time ever. This 102.39-carat piece is one of the rarest diamonds in the world and has an amazing oval shape. Furthermore, this was the first time that such a valuable diamond was auctioned without reserve, and it still fetched more than initially thought. The diamond was cut and polished by Diacore, led by Nir Livnat. Diacore specializes in sourcing, cutting, and polishing extraordinary diamonds.
